After Basic Education:
  
         The system is a two-year of schooling followed by the stage of basic education lasts for ten years seminar, which aims to continue to develop basic skills and job skills and career planning to students including fits them to be active members of society, able to take advantage of opportunities for education, training and work after school. 

The goals of education beyond primary

  1-promote loyalty to the homeland and to His Majesty Sultan Glorious.

2-Confirmation of belonging to the community and the Gulf Arab and Islamic world.

3-reaffirm faith in the principles of the Islamic religion, creed and the consolidation of spiritual values in the minds of learners, and uses it to life and make it a standard of conduct.

4-pride in Arabic, and the expansion of education, arts mastery, with the adequate skills to a language of international communication.

5-belonging to the community.

6-awareness of global trends.

7-development thinking of all kinds and the ability to solve problems.

8-formation positive trends towards work.

9-effective use of the skills of self-learning and continuous learning and the search for knowledge.

10-composition positive trends in the environment.

11 - The ability to interact with others and participate social actors.

12-composition positive trends in the environment. 

Examples of some basic skills, which emphasizes education beyond primary 

1-communication skills.

2-skills the ability to use the language of mathematics.

4-problem-solving skills.

The new curriculum in the post-primary education 

Curriculum Research : provide the opportunity for students to develop their own independent learning through self-reliance.

Life skills : the opportunity for students to develop personal and social skills and job skills necessary, and provide vocational guidance to be active citizens in their communities.

Geography and modern techniques : help students use GIS programs and the use of remote sensing and mapping using modern techniques and computer systems.

Science and technology have : provide students practical technical applications of Sciences.

Environmental science : Students study topics relevant to their daily lives and learn how science affects their lives.

Computer communications and business : it introduces students to know the communication applications available in the institutions and enterprise companies and how to deal with these applications.

Design:
integration of the visual theories (Visuals) with the impact of digital technology. The students will be exposed to employment-related technical design using computers.

Computer science : development of knowledge and skills that allow students to control their computers through a programming language Java. And to spot opportunities associated with computer programming. 

Characteristics of the education program after Statute 

1-Diversity : meets the needs of all students who wish to attend work or who intend to continue their studies.

2-flexibility : enables students to explore various areas in which aspiring school before their specific itinerary.

3-Choice : A selection opportunities for students and prepares them for the labor market and provide them with basic employment skills.

4-meet the individual needs of students : promotes the principle of individual learning and meet the needs of students with low academic capabilities and who possess a high capacity. 

Vocational guidance 

             Within the academic plan for grades XI and XII became a student at liberty to choose from among the existing material and put it commensurate with his abilities and aptitudes and inclinations, here comes the important role of specialist vocational guidance, where students help in discovering their abilities and their professional and how to channel them to converge with the goals and ambitions of professional, as play a major role in enlighten students to educational opportunities available at the university level and the conditions of accession to these programs. 

Services provided by the Office of the draft National Center for vocational guidance
