The studying period in the general education schools is 9 months and there is a holiday between semesters whereas the studing period in basic education is about 180 days .The lesson period in general education is 40 minutes from grade one to nine  and 45 minutes form grade 10 to 12  wheras it is only 35 miutes for grades 1 to six in schools with two periods and the lesson in basic education is 40 minutes.The studying days only five days and number of lessons only 35 in general education schools and 40 lessons in basic education schools .
