First: Introduction
Oral Contests are considered one of the oral assessment tools in the Cognitive
Knowledge development program, to be implemented at school level, taking into
account the following controls:
(1) To include all students from classes V to X.
(2) To be conducted an ongoing basis within the school throughout the school
year.
(3)To be developed within school and educational districts, organized and
administrated by the school supervision groups and the region group.
(4) The participation of all supervisors and teachers of science, mathematics
and geography in the preparation and implementation of oral questions
competitions at the district level and school.
(5) Documentation of the actions taken in the implementation events of the oral
competition at the level of the school and the district for evaluation purposes
within the program in support.
(6) The provision of oral questions to the competition (the sciences,
mathematics and the concepts of environmental geography) solely.
Second: the implementation mechanism of the oral competitions
To achieve the objectives of the competition and ensure the comprehensiveness
and organization of the form, please, take into account the following:
? Involve all students at each class level, making their assessments in groups
as it deems appropriate to teacher.

Note In case of schools
that do not have all grades from the fifth to the tenth, for example, the school
of grades IX and X only, 3 students is chosen in this case from each class to
form a team in each of the subjects and so on.
B. The implementation of the oral competitions at the region level:
Each educational area to conduct oral competitions between schools in the
sciences, mathematics and the concepts of environmental geography, as it deems
appropriate, subject to the following:
1. Conduct of the oral competitions in each of the units (math, science and the
concepts of environmental geography)
2. Each team consists of six candidates, taken from all school classes.

3. School team tops the contests is considered the region team to compete at the
ministry level.
4. The educational directory of the region to forward the names of recipients of
the first three places in each subject.
C. The implementation of the oral competition at the level of the Ministry:
Oral competitions will be conducted between the educational directories by lots
in each of the competition subjects.
